Happy Thanksgiving!

Today, I'm feeling very thankful for the amazing year I've had so far.

Though Cara was pretty disappointed that we didn't make it to her Uncle Mike's today, we had a great time with my parents and sister's family. (The trade off is that we'll be at Uncle Mike's for Christmas...see you there?)
My Dad and I even dunked a Turkey and fried it! I've heard the stories of people burning down their houses and making the news....but luckily, Polish guys have come a long way and are just a bit smarter now. Note the grease on the cardboard box!!

The turkey turned out great and was super moist and delicious (Tori's favorite word...MOIST!)

Since we didn't burn the house down, I thought I'd give you a good old polish joke:

Two Poles are building a house. One of them is putting on the siding. He picks up a nail, hammers it in. Picks up another nail, throws it away. Picks up a nail, hammers it in. Picks up another, throws it away. This goes on for a while, and finally his friend comes over and asks him why he is throwing half of the nails away. He replies, "Those ones were pointed on the wrong end." His Polish friend gets exasperated and says "You idiot, those are for the other side of the house!"
