Driver vs. Pit-Crew

Today is Sunday, and if you remember, on Sundays, Cara works...so, Ava and I have the whole day together. Today we had a fun-filled day--a great visit from Granny Turek, a bonfire party and Ava took a nap during a great football game where Brett Favre beat the snot out of Dallas Cowboys.

But early this morning, we tried out another new toy.

Side Bar: Recently we found a really great young mom to help us by babysitting on Friday afternoons. She lives not far away (and on the way home from work!) and has 2 kids of her own. They seem like a great young family and the more we get to know them the more we like them. She(Kate) seems to really like Ava and so this little deal is working out as good as we could hope for. To make matters ever better, this last time Cara dropped her off, Kate was so nice to offer us a free little car toy that they had no need for.
