2 years go by fast!

Yesterday was Londyn's 2nd Birthday. She is the youngest of my 4 nieces. Soon to be 5 nieces because Londyn is expecting a little sister. Its hard to believe that its been two years since she was born. Seems like just yesterday we got the call from the hospital that she was born. I was so excited that I fired off an email to my whole work group about it. I can't help but think that the time will fly by just as fast (if not faster) when our little girl is born.

My wife's side of the family is a little "closer" than my side. So we see each other fairly often if not once a week. Sometimes, maybe its a little too close, but that's another story. Anyway, I've had the pleasure of seeing this little girl grow and grow for 2 years into a toddler who is starting to talk in sentences and laugh and play like a little person. She's cute.

In less than 3 weeks we will have a baby in our home...our baby. Its hard to believe that 9+ months have gone by so quickly....and I guess, so too will the next 2 years. I plan to take Ferris Bueller's advice and stop and take a look around every once in a while.
