Keeping up with our introductory tour of Saint Louis parks, today we took Ava to Forest Park for a walk. In all my 34 years, I have never gone for a walk on the trail around Forest Park. That's too bad, 'cause its amazing. A short 1 mile stroll, we stopped and had a fruit snack and then headed back to the History Museum where we parked. The All-Star game was just held in STL, so there are plenty of props like the one I'm standing under all over the city.
Later, this evening, I barbecued up some really good burgers, mashed potatoes, boiled some corn on the cob and made brownies for dessert. all in all a good day.
Tomorrow I go back to work. Cara and I are little bummed out about it...but alas, baby will eventually need a new pair of shoes. A Dad of the Future makes the tough decisions to keep his family in good comfortable footwear...among other things.

Congratulations, I agree, she is beautiful. I am glad to hear everyone is well. Can't wait to see her in person.
